Atlas at 10.5 months old

Atlas is my 'new' pup, the last-born in my first litter! His mom is my girl, Harmony. Officially, both of these dogs are owned by APAW, but I am their permanent handler and they sleep on my bed at night.
Atlas' personality is like a mixture of (mostly) the best features of my first 3 dogs, Max, Charlie, and Harmony [each have a page on this website for you to learn more about them]. He is a sweet, sensitive, comical dog, with tons of drive and stamina. He can be a little overly cautious sometimes, but works through any fears very quickly, especially if there is food or tugging involved. He is a load of fun to work with, and only a little hard to live with :P

14 months, trying a new look!

Atlas is the first pup that I have selected with Search and Rescue in mind, and as such he shows a lot more natural talent/interest in this line of work than his mom, who was initially in-training as a Service Dog. I am currently training both of them, allowing each to vear towards the search facet that seems most intriguing to their own interests.
With Atlas I am training primarily in wilderness air-scenting, but it is looking like disaster may be possible (this was the area that initially got me interested in SAR when I was around 15 years old).

12 months old, only a few exposures to water

Atlas only needs 1 win for his UKC conformation Championship, and I may decide to go for his Grand Ch... it depends whether I can earn enough money to use it in that direction. I'm also planning to do weight-pull and rally with him, and hope to try out some water-sports.

4 months, patiently waiting for delivery of his squeaky-toy

Day 1

Hopefully one day Atlas will be a suitable sire for a litter or two of high-drive working/performance Poodles through APAW.
