I show Max in 4-H and we tried AKC obedience once, but we weren't quite ready... Max did a couple loops around the ring - at least he stayed in! By the way, every other Standard Poodle at that show did the same thing, so we weren't alone (though I hope spectators have seen how good Poodles can be as well).
